5 Most Common Types Of People You’ll See At A Concert

By  July 22, 2015

We've all been annoyed by different types of people at concerts. While there are some who ruin the show for us, there are also ones who make it worthwhile. However, if you’re a first time concertgoer, here are the 5 common types of people you’ll most probably encounter.

The Tall Guy

You can never escape this type. You’re either the short person or the tall one. If you’re not blessed with a good height, just try your best to jump all throughout the whole set. But if you’re towering, please refrain from doing extreme movements as you might ruin the experience for the person behind you.

The Dad

The Chaperones, that’s what we call them. They come in cargo pants paired with a polo shirt, sometimes with a good pair of high socks. You’ll see them dancing along to their daughter’s favorite song. You might feel bad for them as they probably had no choice but to accompany their children, but don’t judge them too hard as they might be having more fun than you.

The Phone Addict

I once was this kind of person but I’ve learned my lesson. You’ll find these bunch with their cellphones raised up high during the show. They prefer watching their favorite artist from small screens, which may sound absurd, but they’re really recording them for memories’ sake. If you’re this type, please ditch your phones every once in a while as a courtesy to the person behind you.

The Hipster Wannabe

They come in groups and their outfit are always on point. However, you would probably just see them head bobbing throughout the whole show as they only found out of the headliner's existence when the gig was being promoted on social media. You'll find this type bragging about the show through their filtered photos on their themed instagram.

The Super Fan

You’ll find super fans right behind the barricade with other fanclub members who probably waited in line for 10 hours. They often get annoyed at Hipster Wannabes for trying so hard and you’ll see them mopping around before the show starts. But when their favorite band goes onstage, they pour all their emotions out with no care in the world, singing all the songs despite being so out of tune.

******

Does any of these types sound familiar? Which one are you?
