4 Useful Tips On How To Get SOLD OUT Concert Tickets!

By  June 5, 2016

Have you ever wanted to see your favorite artist/band only to realize that tickets are sold out?

We get it, most of us have several other priorities and we just don’t have the time to wait and purchase a concert ticket the minute online sales go live. However, there are Kiasu fans who go on a battle to get hold of the best seats possible. This leaves us with no other choice but to buy a seat so far away from the stage that you question yourself if it’s even worth it. Some students don’t even get to buy tickets at all, especially when they’re still in the process of saving money for the ticket. Bummer, isn’t it?

But don’t worry, we’re here to share some useful tips on how to get sold out concert tickets!

1. Go To The Concert Event’s Discussion Page

You can often find people selling last minute concert tickets here. People start to realize they can’t attend a certain show and decide to post up their tickets for sale in the discussion page usually the day before the show.

2. Use Twitter Search

Twitter can be a bit of a hassle when it comes to "online shopping", but it still is useful. I usually type certain keywords on Twitter search and pray that I stumble upon anyone selling a ticket. Try searching for keywords such as the name of the artist followed by “Singapore,” “selling,” and“ticket/s.”

3. Carousell

Carousell is probably one of those apps we can’t seem to delete on our phones. After all, what better use of our spare time than to scroll down thousands of second-hand items, eh? We’re all guilty of this. However, Carousell has been nothing but helpful when I desperately need to buy concert tickets. The process often involves bidding, but if you’re lucky, you can even find cheaper tickets!

4. Stalk ONLINE PUBLICATIONS & Concert Promoters

If you’re not already aware of this tip, shame on you. Just kidding. Online publications and concert promoters frequently hold ticket giveaways and even contests for meet&greets. So don’t forget to turn your notifications on for our tweets!

Just follow our tips and you'll be able to get hold of those tickets in no time!
