Familiar Names That Just Entered The Christmas Music Scene

By  December 19, 2016

Christmas is just round the corner and if you are still wondering what songs to listen to during this festive season. We have got you covered; here are 5 familiar names that just entered the scene. Enjoy and happy holidays!

1.     Cruz Beckham

Although Cruz Beckham is new to the music scene, we definitely have heard of his name since he was a baby. A couple weeks ago he released a cover of Home To Mama, which caught the world by surprise. Since then he had been dubbed as the new Justin Bieber. He continues to charm the world with his single If Everyday Was Christmas.

2.     Kacey Musgraves

Kacey Musgraves is an American country music star and she has supported renowned acts like Lady Antebellum and Katy Perry on their tours. In fact, she looks a little like Katy Perry! This year, she released her first ever holiday album A Very Kacey Christmas.

3.     Nathan Sykes

This guy needs no introduction, from the days of The Wanted to his solo career; Nathan Sykes is pretty much a household name now. Just in time for Christmas, he released a cover of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.

4.     Chord Overstreet

Famously known as 'Sam Evans' from the TV series, Glee, Chord Overstreet embarked on his music career last year. In August, he released his debut single Homeland and now he is back with an interesting Christmas cover. Usually Christmas relates to winter and snow, but in this song Chord sings about getting a tan and spending time on the beach.

5.     Major Lazer

What happens when EDM meets holiday music? Sparks fly! If you didn’t already know, Major Lazer consists of the trio Diplo, Jillionaire, and Walshy Fire. Their most famous collaboration would be with Justin Bieber, for Cold Water. But now they have teamed up with reggae artist Protoje on this groovy tune.
