A Cappella Cover of The Chainsmokers' 'Paris' Is Better Than The Original!

The latest from the a cappella cover world is just in: Mike Tompkins' cover of The Chainsmokers' most recent single, Paris, and it is hands down way better than the original.

We all know great a cappella artists like Mike Tompkins, Nick Pitera and of course, Pentatonix, and it's no news that after the a cappella themed movie Pitch Perfect came out back in 2012, the a cappella scene on YouTube flourished. Anyone can see why, though; hit songs by Charlie Puth, Maroon 5 and Adele all covered just by using sounds made by the hands and mouth is definitely not an easy task.

So following the slighly disappointing track by The Chainsmokers, Mike Tompkins really conquered Paris (metaphorically) and even added a bigger drop than the original's. His a cappella cover featured the vocals of his wife, Kayla Tompkins, and the video included clips of almost vintage-style recordings of the couple and their son, Dash, on holiday in Paris - how adorable!!!

You can check the cover out here and you'll probably agree with me that Mike did a super awesome (and super cute) job on it!
