15 Gigs To Start 2018 On The Right Note

There’s no better way than to start off 2018 with a couple of gigs.

Just before you get back to the grind of things, take the chance to step back and indulge in some live performances. January celebrates the epitome of Mandopop; arguably the most popular Japanese rock band and a ton of indie performances. Here are 15 gigs you can catch in January!

 

Kelvin Chen (Jan 6)

Chen won the first ever season of Project SuperStar back in 2005 and that catapulted him onto the Asia stage. He also got fans to put in their song dedications via his Facebook page.

Jay Chou (Jan 6)

Known as the king of Mandopop, Chou will be back in Singapore for part 2 of his “The Invincible” tour. Tickets for his one-night show sold out almost instantly, that definitely speaks for itself!

Imagine Dragons (Jan 7)

The alternative rock quartet will be back in Singapore for their show to promote their third and latest album Evolve. They previously graced Singapore as part of the 2015 Formula 1 event, if you enjoyed that then this is for you!

The name is Bond. James Bond. Directly from London, 28 world-class musicians from the United Kingdom will join Singapore’s Base Philharmonic Orchestra to perform the iconic hits from the blockbuster movie.

HARRY POTTER and the Chamber of Secrets in CONCERT (Jan 19-20)

The Metropolitan Festival Orchestra will be back for the second installment of the Harry Potter series! After the huge success of the first, they will take on the second installment for two nights in Singapore. If you are a potterhead, then you cannot miss this!

One Ok Rock (Jan 20)
