Light in a world of darkness.

American Hip Hop recording artist Lecrae recently released the music video for his latest single, I'll Find You, with Tori Kelly.

The music video starts off with a young, bedridden patient fighting for her life in the hospital as her worried parents stay by her side. It continues with the little girl having an out-of-body experience as she goes around to the other wards to give hugs to her fellow friends who are battling against cancer.

As a result of her hopeful disposition, the cancer patients exude a sense of happiness and joy despite their failing bodily conditions. The music video ends with names and ages of real patients wearing t-shirts with the words "We Won't Stop" printed on them followed by a website for viewers to donate and support the wonderful cause of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Lecrae describes this video as "his heartbeat" and a way of him showing his pain and passion for others, reminding them that there is hope present in chaos. Tori Kelly shares the same sentiments and added that she hopes this music video will encourage and bless someone out there.

Now that is one big music party.

Ally Brooke from Fifth Harmony, Sydney Sierota from Echosmith and Tori Kelly have been really good friends for quite some time now.

Despite their own busy schedules, these three friends always find a way to make time for each other. Whether it is meeting up for Halloween or jamming out in the studio or even visiting the happiest place on earth, they make it happen.

These ladies are probably very similar in many ways but the most obvious common dominator is that they are all SLAYING the music industry with their incredible talent. And so we are keeping our fingers crossed that they will one day make beautiful music together and release it to the rest of the world.

Can you imagine what an epic collaboration that would be with the rest of Fifth Harmony and Echosmith? We can only hope.

Simply heartbreaking.

It has been slightly over a month since the world has lost the gorgeous and talented Christina Grimmie. They say that time will heal but the real question is how long does it really take to move on from such a tragic death of someone you once held so close. Family and friends have since paid their tribute to the beautiful soul through various ways. Some have made video montages, others have dedicated songs and personal messages to the late singer.

Tori Kelly was no exception. The singer-songwriter penned a soulful ballad which she titled Blink Of An Eye with some really honest and heartfelt lyrics that made us all cry uncontrollably. "Can't help but think who you would be if you just had the chance to turn 23" got us right in the feels. As Tori just turned 23 herself last December, she probably feels horrible thinking that Christina would never be 23. The song continues, "You had so much life left. Can't help but think it could've been me out there, chasing a dream when suddenly it all stops in a heartbeat." Wow, the senseless act could seriously have happened to anyone. And it just so happened to be Christina who was just a girl living out her dreams.

Tori mentions in the description box that writing this song was her way of expressing her still heavy heart but is comforted by the fact that she'll one day see Christina again in heaven. She continues to explain that although the tune was written for Christina, this is her way of mourning at the pain and brokenness in the world today. She ended it off by saying that life is so short with a bible verse from Revelation.

If you're already reading this article, rest assured - you're in good hands.

I know there may never be another genre-bending, barrier-breaking fashion mogul like ANTI queen Rihanna, but there are definitely some very underrated, less heard of female artists out there.

So here I go - enjoy these 5 femme fatales of the R&B/house genres that will steal your eardrums and earn multiple replays. You can thank me later when you've filled up your YouTube/Spotify playlist.

#1 - Zara Larsson

If you've heard of the radio and club banger Never Forget Youyou're already one step ahead. While that hit rocketed the 18-year-old Zara Larsson to the charts, it's actually her solo hit, Lush Life, that's got me groovin. With a fantastic body and silky smooth vocals, Zara got us gaga for her.

#2 - Pia Mia

Garnering over a hundred million hits on Youtube, Pia Mia has pretty much dominated R&B scene for now at the age of 19. (I know! Young and talented - killer combo right there.) Touch shows off her inner daring music personality that is sure to put us all on the dance floor in seconds.

#3 - Jess Glynne

This redhead hottie is leaving a trail of fire on the charts. She's none other than Jess Glynne, the Brit songbird that's making quite a name for herself out there. Her latest album offers an amazing repertoire of R&B singles that will leave you musically breathless and wanting more.

#4 - Tori Kelly

Style? Check. Looks? Check. Vocals? Check. Tori Kelly's got it all. Although she got beaten by Meghan Trainor at the Grammy Awards (I don't understand why!?), make no mistake - she's a rising star and things are getting hot for her. Let Tori's single Should've Been Us do justice for her.

#5 - Hailee Steinfeld

It's easy to write Hailee Steinfeld off as the newbie in Pitch Perfect 2, but you gotta admit that this girl's got some real singing chops! Add some awesome confidence to that equation, and you've got yourself a gem who's dishing out great, so-dance-worthy hits out there.

5 Underrated Singers of Our Generation

Talent = Success?

Well, in some cases we can all agree on the above equation. But for others, not so much.

In the world of music, we can first of all say that it is a very hard business to make it big. You need talent, the personality, the looks and the wow factor. Basically, you need to be the complete package.

However, even with all these, you might still not get all the success you truly deserve. So here are 5 singers/artistes that we feel are underrated in the music biz. (Remember: underrated means to underestimate the extent, value or importance of someone.)

1. Tori Kelly

This American singer has always been underestimated by most for her vocal ability and that includes Mr Simon Cowell when Tori auditioned for the ninth season of American Idol. He commented that her voice was annoying. (EXCUSE YOU MR COWELL) Well, look who killed it with those runs of her song, Should've Been Us, on stage at the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards.

2. Jessie J

Multi-talented English singer and song-writer, Jessie J, has been in the music business for such a long time and people have not really come to acknowledge the the full potential of this lady. Although she has a couple of hits like Bang Bang and Flashlight, people kind of just focus on them being catchy tunes and do not really talk about the singer herself.

3. Little Mix

They are the winners of the UK version of The X Factor 2011 for a reason. This British girl group has been killing the music scene for about 5 years now but one thing really puzzles us when their songs get played on the radio and we go, "YES! LITTLE MIX!!!" and the people around us go, "who?" Like, how can people not know who Little Mix is at this point of time???

4. Alessia Cara

19-year-old Canadian singer and songwriter, Alessia Cara, had her start on YouTube doing acoustic covers. After getting discovered and signing a record deal, Alessia's debut single titled Here got her name on the charts. However, we don't think people are really recognizing the full potential of this young star. Just take a listen at the many words she effortlessly sings through in every breath she takes.

5. Demi Lovato

"Demi Lovato" is a name that we are all familiar with and you're probably thinking why she's even on this list. Well, it is no doubt that Ms Lovato has a voice of gold. Not only can she sing, but she can sing anything she wants to from pop to rock and even R&B. We just don't understand why her songs don't chart as well as other artistes who cannot necessarily sing...

Well, do you agree with us? Who do you think is the most underrated singer/artiste of our generation? Do let us know what you think by leaving us a tweet!

California singer-songwriter Tori Kelly releases her industry-breaking debut album, Unbreakable Smile, with a new single called Hollow, a heart-pounding song that is probably her most personal one yet and could do better off without Big Sean's rap section.

The album begins with a minute-and-a-half acoustic little tune Where I Belong that flows nicely into the title track Unbreakable Smile where Tori sings about trying to be herself in the sea of criticism surrounding her.

Tori's vocals come off like a cross between Lea Michele and Natasha Bedingfield and she definitely channels a lot of that emotional singing here, especially in the RnB single Should've Been Us and the gut-wrenching First Heartbreak.

Other acclaimed artists leave their mark on Unbreakable Smile with LL Cool J in the summer soundtrack California Lovers and everyone's favorite, Ed Sheeran who fits perfectly with Tori in the Sheeran-esque duet I Was Made For Loving You.

Tori Kelly proves here that being yourself is totally fine in the music industry and you don't have to wear scantily clothes in your music videos to garner more views. Unbreakable Smile is without a doubt her stepping stone to a great career.

YouTube has been around for slightly more than a decade and has been a platform for individuals to express themselves in the form of short videos.

Since then, YouTube has been taken seriously as a media platform alongside TV and radio, with new talent rising from being on your web browser to the top of the Billboard charts.

Here are three YouTube stars that made it to the big leagues that started off on YouTube.

1. Austin Mahone

Before the collaborations with Flo Rida and Pitbull came, was the young boy from Texas whom people hailed as the new Justin Bieber.

It's way too much of a coincidence that Austin Mahone's cover of Chris Brown's With You, at the same age Justin covered the exact same song, gave him his big break. The comparisons were never gonna stop and Austin knew it too.

His debut EP, The Secret, debuted at #5 on Billboard with a lead single that didn’t make much of an impact. Pretty impressive still.

Austin is set to release his debut album this year, but could he replicate the success of Justin? Perhaps, with a stroke of luck.

2. Tori Kelly

After rising thru YouTube fame for her cover of Frank Ocean’s Thinking Bout’ You, Tori Kelly auditioned for American Idol only to miss out on the top 24. That didn’t stop her from writing, producing and mixing her debut EP by herself though.

Three years later, she’s signed to Capitol Records with the help of Scooter Braun and her debut album has peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200.

3. Justin Bieber

Accidentally discovered when Scooter Braun was searching for a different singer on the still-new YouTube, the Canadian teen heartthrob's life has been under the spotlifght ever since.

From singing a cover of Chris Brown’s With You at the age of 14 to selling 8 million copies of his debut album only 2 years later, Justin Bieber has a lot to thank YouTube for.

Top 5 Musicians For The YouTube Addict

If you’re on this site, you must have at least a slight interest in music. Am I right? I may be generalising, but you’re probably a fan of YouTube as well, the original father of free music (online).

And again, I may be generalising when I say you’ve, at one point or another, found yourself not knowing what or who to watch or listen to whilst on YouTube, music-wise especially.

Therefore, to release another first-world problem off your hands, and also by way of introducing delightful artistes you may or may not have heard of, here are five YouTube musicians you need to know about, if you’re even a remote fan of this glorious thing of a site.

1. Tessa Violet

Otherwise known as Meekakitty, Tessa Violet is known mostly for her amusingly short and honest vlogs. A former model, she’s dabbled in the production of music videos in the past. But the originals and covers she’s been producing lately showcases her oddly distinct and dulcet voice, which still astounds me every time I hear it.

Releasing a full-length album, Maybe Trapped Mostly Troubled, not too long ago, she’s proven to be a mellifluous force to be reckoned with. Not convinced yet? Check out this sweet little old-school duet of hers, Do You Love Me Too, performed with another YouTube singer, which brings me to my next point.

2. Rusty Clanton

If you’ve just watched the video above, you should’ve already gotten a first-hand (sort of) experience of the captivating talent, that is, Rusty Clanton. When I say captivating, I mean it as an all-encompassing adjective.

From his playfully dishevelled curls, to his slightly rosy cheeks, to his charmingly genuine smile, to the easiness of his voice, even the boyish romance of his name, Rusty is a true gem that needs a larger audience. Trust me when I say that his original songs are as good as his covers—listen to one below.

3. Tori Kelly

On to a popular artiste, this American Idol reject has made quite a name for both herself and her fabulously out-of-control ‘do. Simon Cowell categorises her voice as “almost annoying”, but I beg to differ.

Tori’s got the vocal versatility that stretches from a soft and delicate extreme to a potently powerhouse end. A guitar in hand, the music she creates is indeed annoying—annoyingly addictive, that is!

4. Pomplamoose

A quirky name for a quirky couple. Pomplamoose is one half Nataly Dawn, and one half Jack Conte, a truly formidable duo that incorporates a jazzy twist to their cover songs.

Some attribute their very charm to the empty thousand-mile stare of Nataly’s eyes, but it’s probably the unconventional purity and precision of her singing and the fact that Jack’s one masterful multi-intrumentalist. Watch as Nataly trades her trademark gaze for something more intense. Oh, and get ready for three minutes of pure genius with their smashing, new setup.

5. Kina Grannis

I’m almost 100% certain Kina Grannis is a name you’ve heard of at least once in your cyberspace lifetime. Judging by her huge following on YouTube, I doubt any introduction is necessary.

But I’ll give you one, anyway. An acoustic pop singer-song writer with beautiful long locks once, the 28-year-old has now ventured into a somewhat indie territory with significantly shorter hair.

Honestly, if you were unaware of the existence of this songstress whose music has been featured in mainstream TV (see: Gossip Girl and Pretty Little Liars), I’d really like to know which rock you’re living under.
