If Disney channel original movies were your jam back in the 2000s, this is for you.

For these 3 classic movies, they truly had a special place in our hearts. We love the movies, the music and even the books for some. Not only did these movies form part of our childhood, but they also kick-started the careers of the pop stars of today.

Get ready for some feels and relive your childhood now!

High School Musical 3

When we think of Disney channel original movies, this franchise is bound to be on the top of the list. A decade ago, the third part of the series hit theatres worldwide and it definitely left a lasting impression on many of us. Whether we were team Sharpay or team Gabriella, it didn’t matter at the end. We admired their amazing friendship and that they were able to pursue a degree of choice after graduation. They were the original definition of #SquadGoals!

Camp Rock

It has been a whole 10 years since Camp Rock first aired on Disney Channel; it has also been 10 years since we first heard of Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers. The cast has definitely kept busy since ever – some pursuing a career in music and others continuing in film. This movie was more than catchy tunes and good-looking stars, it also taught us to aspire and that no dream was too big or too crazy.

The Cheetah Girls: One World

If girl squads were a thing is in 2000s, The Cheetah Girls will most probably top the list. The world was so obsessed with the girl group that they even released a clothing line, perfumes and dolls to name a few. From New York City to Barcelona to India, we’ve been through it all with the girls. In 2008, the third and final instalment of movie trilogy was released. Unfortunately, the group did not manage to end the era with a full team as Raven-Symone decided to pull out.

More than meets the eye than a pretty wedding dress.

Demi Lovato recently dropped her highly anticipated music video for Tell Me You Love Me after teasing several photographs of her posing in a beautiful wedding dress which made a lot of fans very excited.

The music video starts off with a scene where Lovato's on-screen boyfriend pops the question to which the pop star said yes to. Following the successful marriage proposal, the couple though seemingly in love, faced various struggles of their own which resulted in constant arguments.

One of the many disagreements they had involved Lovato receiving a call from someone named "Erik" and when her fiancé asked who it was, she dismissively replied "nobody". After explaining that he is one of her best friends, Lovato's fiancé defended himself after being accused of being jealous saying that he does not need to be jealous to not like what is happening. The short story ended with Lovato's fiancé apologising and walking away from her on their wedding day.

Many fans are convinced that this music video is Lovato's way of communicating the pain and struggles of her long-time relationship with Wilmer Valderrama that almost resulted in marriage but has unfortunately ended in June of last year. In addition, many have also speculated that one of the causes of the breakup is Lovato's BFF, Nick Jonas, who is represented as "Erik" in this music video.

Speculation or simply the truth?

Since the release of Demi Lovato's sixth studio album, Tell Me You Love Me, many have been praising and enjoying the innovative melodies and authentic lyrics from the body of work.

With every successful artist comes a group of very dedicated and curious fans who will analyse and break down every single lyric to figure out the details of an artist's personal life. Demi's fanbase, also known as the Lovatics, is no exception to this description especially with regard to one of the tracks on the album titled, Ruin The Friendship.

The detective work has been done and the clues have been pointing to one person in particular - the homegirl's best friend, Nick Jonas.

Upon hearing the song title for the first time, one might think that it's about ending a friendship in a negative way. However, it's about being secretly in love with one's best friend and wanting to be more than just friends.

Lovato has neither confirmed nor denied if this song was written about her homie, Nick Jonas. When asked about the inspiration behind the track, she simply replied that she will never reveal who she writes her songs about.

Upon first glance at the title of Demi Lovato's latest single, you'd expect a slinking, sultry R&B jam, perhaps a track following the footsteps of Selena Gomez's later releases.

But Sexy Dirty Love has turned out to be a fresh dose of synthpop goodness, pulsating with funky basslines and throwback disco touches. While the lyrics are adult-themed, the song's brand of 'sexy' opts for an euphoric rush over a sensual flavor, as evident in both the punchy production and vocal delivery where Demi belts the lyrics with power and zeal.

As the 3rd single off her upcoming album Tell Me That You Love Me, Sexy Dirty Love has a markedly different style from the R&B trap song Sorry Not Sorry and the gospel-influenced Tell Me That You Love Me. It helps to further showcase her range and we're definitely looking forward to hear what else her album has to offer when it comes out on 29 September!

A few months ago, the GRAMMYs paid a tribute to the pop group Bee Gees and it recently aired on national TV in the US.

The tribute show: Stayin' Alive: A Grammy Salute to the Music of the Bee Gees, was kicked off by Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly, Little Big Town and Andra Day with a medley of Stayin' Alive, Tragedy, How Deep Is Your Love, and Night Fever.

The show was in honour of the 40th anniversary of the Saturday Night Fever Bee Gees soundtrack and it saw many award winning artists come together to perform the Bee Gees' hit songs.

Here are a few of them:

Tori Kelly - Tragedy

DNCE - Night Fever

Keith Urban - To Love Somebody

These were just a few of the many performances on that show. Other artists that took part in this tribute included Panic! at the Disco, Ed Sheeran, Stevie Wonder, and even Barry Gibbs himself!

Barry, the last surviving member of Bee Gees, took to the stage to perform Jive Talkin', You Should Be Dancing, and the finale together with the rest of the ensemble for Stayin' Alive.

I think this tribute was a huge success just by the fact that 20th century and 21st century artists come together to celebrate timeless music. It's absolutely wonderful to witness because it's a reminder that despite the time changes and evolution of people's lives, music will always be a common connection that everyone shares, and that old music is still Stayin' Alive to remind us of the roots of music and its olden culture.

Here's the full list of artists and performances who were a part of this tribute:

Massachusetts – Ed Sheeran
Lonely Days – Panic! At the Disco

The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon is not only well known for his Lip Sync Battles and Wheel of Musical Impressions, he is also famous for his segment, "EW!"

"EW!" is a mini series which stars him and a famous young celebrity (female or male) dressing up as two stereotypical teenage girls and doing teenager things like having dance parties and talking about boys. Jimmy has teamed up with artists and actors like Zac Efron, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and even will.i.am for hilarious episodes.

Last week, former Disney actress and singer Demi Lovato joined Jimmy (whose character's name is Sara - withouth the 'h' because 'h's are EW!), for a 5 minute episode of "EW!" In this episode, Demi's character, Emily, and Sara took emoji selfies and practiced kissing boys with "crush cushions," which were basically cushions with the faces of Sara's crushes printed on them.

"EW!" is actually one of my favourite video series to watch because it's just plain funny and cute, so check out Demi's episode of "EW!" here:

Do you remember her?

Or her?

Maybe her?

If you said yes to all 3 of them, you are in for a treat! Ashley Tisdale took to her Snapchat (ashleymtisdale) to reveal that they are working together on a track titled Trophy Boy. The song will be part of the soundtrack from their upcoming animated movie Charming. Besides providing the vocals for the track, Ashley, Avril and Demi will also be playing Cinderella, Snow White and Lenore respectively. The soundtrack and film will also feature fellow artists like Sia and Steve Aoki.

Even though there are no details on the song yet (or even the release date), we can tell it will definitely be amazing. Can’t wait!

Huge congratulations to Nathan Hartono for making it so far in Sing! China and doing us proud!

1.     A Great Week For Fifth Harmony

The past week has been great for the girls of Fifth Harmony; they achieved two major recognitions for their music and work. First of all, the girls’ video for Work From Home has garnered over 1 BILLION views on Vevo. The video was released in February this year, and in just 8 months, they have raked up over 1 BILLION views. This is not their first video to surpass the remarkable milestone; the video for Worth It has also surpassed this mark.

Secondly, Fifth Harmony has topped Billboard’s 21 Under 21 2016: Music's Hottest Young Stars chart. The quintet has had an incredible year with the release of their hugely successful second album, 7/27, and then embarking on their album tour. Following closely behind is Shawn Mendes in second place and Desiigner in third.

2.     #SoundsOverFeelsOver

You might have seen this hashtag trending on Twitter over the past couple of days; it marked the end of 5 Seconds of Summer’s 101-show tour. Remember when the boys were in Asia earlier this year? That’s right, they have been on tour all this while and just completed their worldwide tour. The boys ended off the nine-month tour with two shows in their hometown, Sydney. There could not be a place more apt than where they started their journey from.

Tell us what is your favourite memory for the Sounds Live Feels Live tour?

3.     GROW UP OLLY MURS!!

No, it is not because Olly Murs made the headlines for infamous reasons. Olly Murs announced his new single would be entitled Grow Up and got the help of his celebrity friends to record a short video telling him to grow up.

We get it; Olly Murs needs to GROW UP!

4.     Demi Lovato Is Going On Sabbatical

“Sabbatical, Hiatus, Break” Few of the words that fandoms fear of hearing, Demi Lovato has announced her plans to take a break from music and the spotlight.

This came after the release of her Glamour interview that left her in a rather odd position. The interview caught the attention of the media when her words got taken out of context and made her look bad. Prior to her announcement, the Body Say singer did an impromptu Twitter Q&A, where she confessed that she would not be releasing new music any time soon and has plans to do charity work while on hiatus. Feeling jaded? Here are ways to cope with the news

By now, most of us would've heard about Demi Lovato's announcement to take a break from music next year.

Although the songstress have said in a reply on Twitter that she does not know when she's coming back, it's hard to imagine how life would be like without any upcoming new music, tours or even TV appearances from her.

If you are feeling as devastated as us, this list on five ways to cope with the news may come helpful to you:

1) Face your feelings

Are you sad? We're sad too.

2) Let your emotions be expressed

There's nothing worse than keeping it all on the inside!

3) Talk to someone about your feelings

The listening ears of Spin or Bin Music are only a tweet away if you ever need shoulder to cry on!

4) Get out of the house

Why not meet up with your BFFs and go to one of these concerts together?

5) Keep calm and carry on supporting Demi

If there's anything to celebrate about today, it is that Demi is still alive and kicking!

Yes, although the rest of this slightly-exaggerated post may have made it seem like Demi has passed on, she's still breathing! We can also draw comfort from the fact that she didn't state exactly how long her break would be... it might even only last for a month (fingers crossed).

Until Demi is ready to make music again, the best thing us Lovatics can do is to continue supporting her (including her decision to take the well-deserved break) and let her know that we're all Waitin for You!
