Who will emerge victorious?

Liam Payne recently visited the Late Late Show to talk about his new life as a father and exactly why he decided to name his son a particularly unconventional name.

Before his designated segment, Corden was casually telling the audience why he thinks that boy bands are better than solo artists. He reckons that wearing similar outfits, having cool dance choreographies and harmonies are so much cooler than boring old solo artists.

Lo and behold, Liam Payne appears out of nowhere to challenge Corden's claim. It's ironic to say the least as Payne is currently on hiatus from his boy band, One Direction, and pursuing a solo music career.

Payne and Corden continuously throw shade at each other while belting out hits by solo artists as well as boy bands respectively before coming to a conclusion that there can be a world where the two can successfully coexist.

Top 3 Most Watched Carpool Karaoke Videos Of 2016

One of the greatest trends in the music side of YouTube is of course none other than The Late Late Show host James Corden's Carpool Karaoke, which features James Corden himself, driving around famous artists and celebrities such as One Direction, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lady Gaga, while having a blast jamming to the artist's songs.

2016 has brought some more great celebrities into James Corden's car and here are the Top 3 most watched Carpool Karaoke videos of 2016:

3. Selena Gomez

At number three, Selena Gomez joins James as they belt out some of Selena's top hits like Hands to Myself, Love You Like a Love Song and even Come & Get It on a rollercoaster!

2. Sia

In second place, watch as Sia and James hit some high notes singing some of Sia's biggest songs: Chandelier and Elastic Heart. James even dons a Sia-signature wig to get into the zone!

1. Adele

Taking the number one spot with over 140 million views, James and Adele wow everyone with impressive duets of Adele's hits such as Hello and Someone Like You. Check it out and prepare to be amazed!

Let's all hope that 2017 will bring back even more well loved celebrities for heaps more car jams!

During an interview, James Corden (host of The Late Late Show with James Corden and genius behind Carpool Karaoke) revealed his ultimate wishlist of singers he wants to get on the show.  Namely Beyonce, Prince and Bruno Mars!

This got us thinking, who is on our wishlist?

Troye Sivan – Supporting #TeamInternet.

Troye first shot to fame when he started posting video blogs and covers on YouTube back in 2012. In 2013, he was signed to EMI Australia, but never told anyone till a year later when he released his debut EP, TRXYE. He would make an amazing guest as he is so funny and is already more than comfortable in front of cameras.

5SOS – They just get so passionate when singing karaoke

Ashton Irwin and Calum Hood from 5 Seconds of Summer went to catch Justin Bieber on his Purpose World Tour in Los Angeles a few days ago. The next day, they tweeted this hilarious video of them passionately singing along to Baby. Now just imagine this but in a 15-minute long Carpool Karaoke segment, what's not to like?

Taylor Swift – Just imagine her grooving to the beat.

We all know Taylor loves to groove to the beat at award shows, some have called it 'awkward dancing' but it is honestly just entertaining to watch. I can imagine her getting really excited and belting out her own songs when she is in the car, can you?

Fingers crossed these artists will make an appearance in James Corden's Carpool Karaoke! Tell us who is on your wish list?
