If you only have to watch one cover of a song this week, make it HAIM’s take on That Don’t Impress Me Much.

The Shania Twain hit was given its due resurrection into the mainstream scene at triple J's Like A Version segment.

Covers are usually a hit or miss, especially in today's hard-to-impress generation. But rest assured that HAIM will continue to surpass our expectations - especially when you have both Este and Danielle on lead vocals.

We all know how it went down when HAIM covered Selena Gomez and had Alana on vocals... not that well-received.

But then, it doesn’t take much to be enthralled by HAIM, and this cover just proves that the trio is finally back to bless our ears.

Be sure to be entertained by Este’s amusing side-eyes and Danielle’s effortless guitar solos in the video below.

Bieber

Hey, not a surprise right? Thanks to the fans who voted, Taylor Swift bagged top honours as usual and won Video of the Year at the CMT Music Awards for lead single Mine, while Justin Bieber snagged Collaborative Video of the Year for his hookup with Rascal Flatts on That Should Be Me.

Newlyweds, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are also having a pretty darn good year. Both won Male and Female Video of the Year respectively (Who Are You When I'm Not Looking, The House That Built Me) while Blake also received Best Video Award of the Year for Kiss My Country Ass – becoming the only artist to have won 2 awards.

None of the top winners were present to receive their awards aside from the Biebster although Taylor appeared via satellite to express thanks for her award.

So adorable how everyone including Taylor were singing along to Stuck Like Glue by Sugarland who also won Duo Video of the Year (not a surprise either, they won last year)!

The CMT Music Awards, known for its crossover appeal and unlikely mashups, definitely made several headlines last night.

Aside from the many ‘oops’ moments – Shania Twain took a tumble and Sheryl Crow accidentally flashed her undies – the CMT Music Awards presented many awesome performances.

Taylor Swift and Shania Twain starred in a hilarious three-minute sketch of “Thelma & Louise” that also featured comedian Ron White, Donald Trump, Kenny Rogers, Kid Rock and super cute Glee star Chord Overstreet… getting all wet!

Jason Aldean and Ludacris, Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum and Sugarland were just some of the performances to rock the stage last night. American Idol winner, Scotty McCreery and runner up Lauren Alaina introduced The Band Perry to a mainstream audience – they took the Breakthrough Video of the Year and performed a kick-ass rendition of Love the Way You Lie/You Lie.

All in all, an awesome night filled with memorable moments. Catch these moments and the brilliant performances here and click here for the full list of winners.
