In pant-wettingly exciting news for Singapore’s Beliebers, it's been confirmed that Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber will bring his ‘Purpose’ tour to Singapore in October this year.

The teen hearthrob will be showcasing tracks from the album after which the tour is named (his No.1 fourth studio album), along with a few fan favourites and top singles from throughout his earlier career.

More deets to come! STALK US!

The world of rock 'n' roll just hasn't been the same since the death of Lemmy. The legendary Motörhead singer and bassist was a metal icon for more than 40 years, and we still can't believe he's gone. Thankfully, there have been plenty of homages and tributes to Mr. Kilmister in the meantime to help keep his legacy alive and well.

One of the places we continue to see the rock god is on the silver screen. Despite dying more than a year ago, Lemmy filmed scenes for the upcoming movie Sunset Society. The film by Phoebe Dollar has been in the works for some time, and it's set to open in the spring of 2018. Clips from one of Lemmy's scenes have been featured in the latest music video from Jyrki 69, "Bloodlust." It's a dark, synth-driven rock track that features plenty of sneak peeks from the movie along with cameos from Ron Jeremy, Dizzy Reed from Guns N' Roses, and loads of blood, of course. The band has described the feel of the video as if the cult-classic vampire film The Lost Boys was moved to the Sunset Strip.

And Lemmy continues to live on in more than just the movies. The legendary rocker has also been spotted in multiple video games. The band has gotten in the habit of licensing out its songs and likeness to a number of genres ranging from hack-and-slash adventures to casual casino games. Motörhead has been featured in its own slot reel included among the most popular slot games found on the internet where fans can rock out to some of Lemmy's biggest hits while they play. The game is a speed metal-themed slot reel featuring the band's members, their iconic logo, and some of their best songs as another fun way to connect with casual fans. For more hardcore gamers there's also a Motörhead expansion for the popular Victor Vran action series, which is now available for the PS4.

Of course, the main way Lemmy is kept alive is through his music, and fans will be in for a treat with a new record on the way. That's right, the debut solo album from Lemmy Kilmister is scheduled for release later this year. During its more than 40-year career, Motörhead put out 23 albums, 10 live records, 12 compilations, and five EPs. It's hard to believe that with all that output there was never a solo record from Lemmy himself, but for fans it's better late than never. The record has reportedly been in the works since 2003, and it features tracks recorded with Dave Grohl (of the Foo Fighters) and punk rock legends The Damned.

Even though Lemmy might be gone, the "Ace of Spades" singer will never be forgotten. It's nice to know that some things never really die, and when it comes to rock 'n' roll, Motörhead isn't going anywhere any time soon. Lemmy will rock on forever in our hearts, and it looks like he'll be on our record players and online for quite some time, too!

10 Questions With Nathan Sykes

We miss The Wanted.

As the youngest member of The Wanted, Nathan Sykes was propelled to international stardom at the age of 16 years old. With a string of number ones, sold-out tours, and fans across the globe, the band dominated the world until One Direction came along.

The British-Irish boy band then went on hiatus and Nathan carved out his promising and exciting solo career last year with his debut solo album Unfinished Business.

We managed to interview Nathan before his return to Singapore this June!

1. If you could choose a theme song to reflect your life, what would it be and why?

I would choose My Way by Frank Sinatra. It's such a beautiful and powerful song. I think that it's important to do things your own way and make your own stamp on the world. I think the lyrics really represent that.

2. What things in life are still mysteries to you?

The future! You never know what's around the corner!

3. You’ve got a day to be anyone you want to be. Who would you be and why? What would you do being that person?

I'm really happy within myself but if I had to choose someone else I would be Barack Obama and I would find out all of the worlds biggest secrets!

4. What was the inspiration behind ‘There’s Only One Of You’?

There's Only One Of You was written about that part of your life between moving on from someone that you cared about and still wanting to be with them. It focuses on how the world is still going to move on whether you're with that person or not but there's still that one person that is on your mind.

5. What’s the most atrocious headline that you’ve read about yourself?

To be fair I think I've been quite lucky with headlines as a solo artist so far as I try to be as positive and as nice about everyone as possible and I will always try to let my music do the talking.

6. Tell us an interesting event that happened during the making of ‘Unfinished Business’.

I think writing Famous was one of my favourite moments while making Unfinished Business. I started writing the song in the shower and then took the idea into the studio and then revisited the song a few times to make sure I was telling the story as well as I possibly could because it was such a personal song for me to write.

7. What’s the best and hardest part of being Nathan Sykes?

I think the best part is that I get to travel the world doing what I love every single day and I have developed into an artist that writes all their own music so I get to tell my own story to so many people. The hardest part is definitely dealing with jet lag as I love my bed!!

8. What is your favourite song to perform live?

My favourite song to perform live is More Than You'll Ever Know because it's such a feel good song and there's a lot of moments for the audience to sing along with me!!

9. It’ll be a crime if we don’t talk about this. Durian is a really popular fruit in southeast Asia also regarded as “king of fruits”. Are you willing to try them during your stay in Singapore?

I'm always open to trying most things! But I've heard mixed reviews about Durian so we might have to play that one by ear!!

10. Lastly, what message would you like to give to your Singaporean fans?

Thank you so much for the support!!! I love reading your messages online and I can't wait to come back to Singapore as it's one of my favourite places in the world!! See you on June 17th!!

Nathan Sykes will be performing at Serangoon Garden's only rooftop concert @MyVillage on 17 June. Spend $70 and $120 at myVillage to redeem 1 invite and 2 invites respectively.

Rock legends the Foo Fighters will perform LIVE in Singapore this August!

The last great American arena/stadium rock band, fronted by singer Dave Grohl, has been strongly rumoured to be performing in Southeast Asia after Summer Sonic Festival in Japan confirmed that the band will be one of their headlining acts.

We've been waiting for them to perform in our sunny island since the band cancelled their 2012 show due to a medical condition of one of their key band members.

This will be their only show in Southeast Asia (besides Bangkok) so expect tickets to be snapped up in seconds!
